How to Use the Axiom Referral Code

Apply thanks while the account is being created. The whole process takes about ten minutes, most of it writing down your recovery phrase.

Complete steps

  1. Open axiom.trade/@thanks

    Use the official site only: axiom.trade/@thanks. A Cloudflare security check is normal on the real site. Wait for the app to load and check the address bar says axiom.trade.

  2. Sign up with email, Google or Phantom

    Those are the options in Axiom’s sign-up docs. Email uses a one-time code, then a password. Standard terminal use doesn’t require an identity check.

  3. If you see a code field, enter thanks

    The @thanks link usually attaches the referrer automatically. The field may say referral code, access code, invite code, or promo code. They are the same username. Case does not matter: thanks, THANKS, and Thanks all resolve to the same affiliate.

  4. Write down your recovery phrase

    Axiom shows a seed phrase so you can recover your wallet. Its docs suggest also importing it into Phantom, Rabby or Solflare as a backup. Anyone who has the phrase can empty your wallet. Axiom will never ask for it.

  5. Deposit SOL

    Send SOL to the wallet address shown, or buy through Axiom’s Coinbase on-ramp (documented as up to $500 a week without KYC). Start with a small test amount. Hyperliquid perps use a separate deposit inside Axiom.

  6. Trade with the documented 10% referral discount

    Axiom’s referral program gives referred traders 10% off trading fees — not 30%. Thirty percent is the commission paid to the referrer. Volume cashback tiers separately bring the net fee from 0.95% down to 0.75%. See the 10% vs 30% breakdown on the homepage.

Common mistakes

Most referral problems come from where you started the signup.

I already signed up without a code
Axiom does not document a way to attach a referral to an existing account. The discount is set at creation. If you haven’t funded or traded yet, the only workaround is a new account created through the link.
I went to axiom.trade instead of the @thanks link
The plain homepage carries no referrer, and it doesn’t always show a code box. Axiom’s docs don’t describe fixing that afterwards, so if the account is new and unfunded, start again at axiom.trade/@thanks and complete signup in that tab.
I opened the link inside X, Telegram or Discord
Social apps open links in their own mini browser, and the @thanks part can get dropped once Cloudflare’s check reloads the page. Long-press the link, open it in your real browser, then sign up.
I clicked someone else’s referral link first
That referral may be the one that attaches. Close every Axiom tab, open a fresh window and start again from axiom.trade/@thanks.
My fees are not 30% lower
That is expected. Axiom’s docs: 10% off for referred users. 30% is the referrer’s share of Axiom’s net fee. Perps also add Hyperliquid’s own maker/taker fees.
Is the code case-sensitive?
No. Enter thanks in any case. Don’t add the @ symbol, spaces or the full web address in a code field.
